To put into perspective Judy’s business achievements, IWEC is an international economic empowerment program for women formed in 2007, with the assistance of the U.S. Department of State. It is designed to develop a global business network for successful women business owners, helping them gain and expand access to international markets, through the participation of chambers of commerce worldwide. In addition to the State Department, its founders include the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Manhattan Chamber of Commerce (MCC), FICCI/FLO Chamber in New Delhi. Since our early stages, The US State Department played an important role in expanding the international scope of IWEC by supporting the inclusion of African women.
